Camping area (SF-Caravan)
Camping area located in mainly in the grassy area behind the old schoolhouse.
Pets are allowed in our camping area.
At camping area:
- electric pole places for caravan/camping car (12 pcs in grass area & 6 pcs in the parking area)
- tent places
- 3 cottages for booking
- SF-Caravan membership benefits
- lean-to shelter and bbq shed are on the shore of the river, (free to use) and possibility to swimming
NOTE! Sudden deep shore! - water tap is on the right side of the big doors of school building, on the wall of the schoolhouse
- gray water and caravan toilet/septic tank emptying place is near to parking area and info boards
(near the woodshed, under the wooden rack, black and round, at the ground level)
Note!
Electric car poles also available during the winter time (ask for more information)
If you arrive to Siiponkosken Jokikeskus' campground without prior notice:
- You can search a free spot in the camping area
(camping area is mainly in grass backyard area, you can see the electric car poles) - After this, contact the campsite manager and arrange accomodation.
- We prefer to contact at first with message if possible! (SMS message/WhatsApp/email)

At school's basement you'll find:
(entry to basement camping facilities: white side doors of school building, from the left side the stairs to the basement)
- small kitchen, toilet, lockerroom, bathroom and electric sauna (bath towels available to borrow)
- in the basement kitchen: double hot plates, microwave oven, kettle, dishes and cutlery, possibility to wash dishes
- washing machine (laundry) in the basement electrical room, from the right side of the toilet
- electric sauna (10 €/one-time)
- toilet

** = Siiponkosken Jokikeskus is not responsible for non-material (e.g. physical injuries) and material (personal items e.g. phone falling to water) damages that occur to the renter during the rental period of canoes, so the rensponsibility remains with the canoe renter himself/herself. The enterpreuner is only rensonsible for damages to the paddling equipment (breakage, dents, etc.)
Boat/life jackets and appropiate safe equipments are recommended to be worn whenever traveling in water!

- Smaller bbq hut near to bird-watch tower trails (free to use, always open)
- On the other side of second (red) footbridge is bigger accessible (also for disabled) Lapp hut,
called Myllynketo hut
